Etro style made its debut in the late 1960s, when Gerolamo Etro, textiles expert and lover of travel and history, chose India and oriental culture as his inspirational universe.
Today, his four children - Jacopo, Kean, Ippolito and Veronica - work alongside Gerolamo in growing the family business into a contemporary and sophisticated brand of international reach, thanks to 180 own-brand stores across the globe and collections that range from clothing to accessories, textiles to furnishing complements and leather goods to eyewear.
Etro launched its collection of fragrances in late 1980s. Initially based on monothematic formulas with a focus on woody and spicy notes, the fragrance line was gradually imbued with more complex bouquets, Eau de Toilette and Eau de Perfume designed for the client looking for a unique fragrance. The creation of the perfumes, which Etro still produces in-house using exclusively natural ingredients of the finest quality, is reflected in the market through a highly select direct distribution.
Each of the 24 Etro fragrances is made using the techniques and ingredients of artisan perfumers.
A broad and eclectic range, each perfume has its own unmistakable character and personality to express every state of mind of the day.
